Whether you’re experiencing discomfort or want to prevent future problems, we’re here to support your foot health and keep you moving with confidence.

Heel Pain/ Plantar Fasciitis

Heel pain, especially first thing in the morning, is often caused by Plantar Fasciitis—inflammation of the thick band of tissue (plantar

fascia) that runs along the bottom of your foot. Common symptoms include sharp heel pain with your first steps, discomfort after standing or walking, and tenderness in the heel area. It’s typically caused by flat feet, high arches, tight calf muscles, poor footwear, or increased activity. At our clinic, we offer effective, non-surgical treatments like custom orthotics, stretching exercises, night splints, anti-inflammatory care, and advanced therapies like shockwave treatment.

Ingrown Nails

An ingrown toenail happens when the edge of a toenail—usually on the big toe—grows into the surrounding skin, causing pain, redness, swelling, and sometimes infection. This common condition can result from improper nail trimming, tight shoes, injury, or inherited nail shape. Early symptoms may be mild, but if left untreated, ingrown nails can become increasingly painful and lead to serious infections. Our clinic offers gentle, effective treatments ranging from conservative care to in-clinic nail procedures that provide fast relief and help prevent recurrence.

3

Stress Fractures/Moon Boots

Stress fractures are tiny cracks in the bone, often caused by repetitive impact or overuse—commonly affecting the foot or lower leg. They can develop gradually and feel like a dull ache that worsens with activity.

Athletes, runners, and people who suddenly increase their activity level are especially at risk. Treatment usually involves rest and support to allow the bone to heal. We often recommend a moon boot to stabilize the area, reduce pressure, and speed recovery without the need for a cast.

Moonboots for adults and kids are available in our clinic.

4

Neuroma

A neuroma is a painful nerve condition—most commonly Morton’s Neuroma—that affects the ball of the foot, typically between the 3rd and 4th toes. It feels like stepping on a pebble, with symptoms such as burning, tingling, numbness, or sharp pain that worsens with walking or tight shoes. Neuromas develop when nerves are irritated or compressed, often due to poor footwear, high-impact activity, or foot structure. We offer treatments ranging from footwear advice and custom orthotics to in-office injections and advanced therapies to relieve pressure on the nerve.

5

Fungal Nails

Fungal toenails occur when fungi infect the nail bed, causing thickened, discolored, brittle, or crumbling nails—often yellow, white, or brown in appearance. It’s a common condition that can spread if left untreated and is more likely to affect those with sweaty feet, nail trauma, or a history of athlete’s foot. While over-the-counter treatments are often ineffective, our clinic offers proven options like topical or oral antifungal medications, nail debridement and other advice.

6

Athletes Foot/Tinea

Athlete’s Foot, or Tinea Pedis, is a common fungal skin infection that causes itching, redness, peeling, and cracking—usually between the toes or on the soles of the feet. It spreads easily in warm, moist environments like locker rooms, showers, and sweaty shoes. While mild cases may respond to over-the-counter creams, persistent or severe infections often need prescription-strength treatment. We provide targeted care to stop the fungus, relieve symptoms, and prevent recurrence.

7

Tendon Injury

Tendon pain in the foot or ankle is often caused by overuse, injury, or poor biomechanics—commonly affecting the Achilles tendon, posterior tibial tendon, or peroneal tendons. Symptoms may include aching, swelling, stiffness, or sharp pain during movement, especially after activity or first thing in the morning. Without treatment, tendon issues can worsen and lead to long-term problems like tears or instability. We offer personalised care including specific stretching, custom orthotics, activity modifications, and shockwave to reduce pain and promote healing.

8

Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave Therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses high-energy sound waves to stimulate healing in chronic foot and ankle conditions like Plantar Fasciitis, Achilles Tendonitis, and heel pain. It works by increasing blood flow, reducing inflammation, and triggering the body’s natural repair process—often providing relief when other treatments haven’t worked. There's no downtime, no injections, and most patients experience improvement after just a few sessions.

9

Corns/Callus

Corns and calluses are thickened, hardened areas of skin that develop from repeated pressure or friction—often caused by ill-fitting shoes or abnormal foot mechanics. While calluses tend to be broader and less painful, corns are smaller and can be quite tender or painful, especially when pressing on nerves. Left untreated, they can lead to discomfort or skin breakdown. Our clinic offers safe removal, custom orthotics, and footwear advice to relieve pressure and prevent recurrence.
